For anyone considering chiropractic treatment, please be advised that chiropractic is not a medical practice and is not as safe as it purports to be.
In my pre-skeptical days, I went to a chiropractor and remember being horrified by a poster in her waiting room which plainly stated that chiropractic was the only safe treatment for babies.
Not so, according to the Age National in Australia: “Call for age limit after chiropractor breaks baby’s neck”.
The Chiropractic Board of Australia reportedly shut the case without reporting it to the public and the chiropractor was allowed to continue practicing this inane pseudoscience based on the presence of “subluxations”, vertebral injuries which have never been proven to exist and which chiropractors believe to be the cause of a long list of ailments.
